Ramy Elbadry from Egypt will contribute “Tomorrow’s Steps” project!

Ramy Elbadry

Student at the Arab academy of science and technology (business department – marketing major)

I have always wanted to become a doctor when I was a child because I always thought of helping people until I grew up and realized that I could help people in other ways as in teaching and sharing experience.
I have chosen Latvia because a friend of mine (studying in Turiba university) recommended for to visit Latvia as it is a beautiful country and has kind people, as a person who is fund of traveling I always like to discover new cultures and learn more about them.

My country has one of the most efficient garbage recycling in the world, and that’s due to the community of garbage collectors known as “ZABALEEN”.
They collect trash every night and sort it by hand, recycling up to 80 percent of the waste they collect. Green initiatives is study that expands awareness on how to keep the environment green and clean.

Jocelyn Zhong is our fourth exchange participant from China!

She is interested in green intiative because she had taken part some project about environmental protecting in her school and the spirit of the team infected Jocelyn. „We are just student but we always want to do something for our homeland.”

Meet Linda from Taiwan!

Linda Chou

Linda is a student in Cheng Kung University in Tainan city, Taiwan. Being a child Linda dreamed to become a teacher when she was in elementary school. It seemed that she was influenced by parents, because both of them were teachers.

The reason why she applies for this project, relating with green initiatives, is learning different things can help her consider things in different dimensions. Besides, the weather changes so much and becomes very weird; it makes Linda thinks we have to face this problem and think out some ways to lighten the loading of the earth. In her mind we have to let youth know how green is important and cultivate them to have green behavior since they are young.

„I chose Latvia is because I never went to Latvia. After I found some pictures on the internet, I think Latvia may be a beautiful place, which is worth a visit,” she says.

Linda, „Tomorrow’s Steps” is waiting to see you in Latvia!

But why Latvia? „I chose Latvia like my destination because I hear good things about people from Latvia. I want to know a very different place,” she says. „Brazil is champion in recycling aluminum, also stands out recycling of plastic bottles and glass.
